Mr. William Henry "Billy" Freeman, Jr., 75, of Hoover Street North in Hampton, died Friday, September 24, 2021 at his residence.
Mr. Freeman was born November 25, 1945 in Hampton, a son of the late William Henry Freeman, Sr. and Sara Addie Lee Terry Freeman Rushing. He had served in the Air Force for four years and retired from International Paper Company in Hampton. Mr. Freeman was a member of the American Legion Post # 108, Local Union 3130 and St. Paul Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving is his wife Judy Koger Holden Freeman of Hampton; daughters, Stephanie DeLoach and husband David of Nixville, Tina Holden of Bellview, Florida, Buffie Still of Hampton and Brandie Freeman of Lexington; brother, John E. Freeman and wife Cathy of Walterboro; 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Freeman was predeceased by his parents and sisters: Terri Freeman, Sara Ann DeLoach, Bobbie Freeman Swofford and Henrietta Terry.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2021 in Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery in Hampton, conducted by Elders Robert Dobson, Terrell Harvey and Paul Tuten with Military Honors.
Visitation will be Monday from 6 to 8 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
