Mr. Billie Breland Crosby, known as "Pappy" of Brunson, SC, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Columbia, Kentucky.
He was born November 17, 1928, son of the late Benjamin Kisler and Elvie Breland Crosby. He had retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton, SC. Billie was 92 years old, "working on 100" as he would always tell everyone. He spent his last years enjoying visiting with his great-grandchildren, bird watching, eating his daily honey buns and watching reruns of The Andy Griffith Show, Gomer Pyle, Bonanza, Wagon Train and Columbo.
Billie is survived by one daughter Debra Crosby Harrelson of Columbia, Kentucky; granddaughter Jessica Scott and husband Josh of Summersville Kentucky; grandson Neil Harrelson, Jr. and wife Samantha of Columbia, Kentucky; great-grandchildren Emily, Tilly, Xander and Kloe; step-great-grandchildren Levi, Logan and Abby; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his wife Rena Benton Crosby who was formerly the owner and operator of the Addarena Shop in Hampton.
Graveside services will be 11 AM Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Johnson-St. Paul Cemetery conducted by Mr. Randall Nettles and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton.
Friends may visit with the family immediately following the service at the cemetery.
