Mrs. Betty Hall Mobley, 73, of Hampton died Sunday afternoon in the Hilton Head Hospital after an extended illness.

Mrs. Mobley was born July 2, 1945, a daughter of the late Harry Eugene Hall and Lula Stanley Hall.  She was a retired seamstress and devoted her life to caring for her family.

Surviving are:  sons:  David Johnson and wife Sandra of Dunoon, Scotland, Wayne Williams and wife Renee of Estill, James and Ben Williams of Hampton;  daughter:  Debbie Altman of Waycross, Georgia;  sisters:  Joyce Bennett and Patsy Nettles of Hampton;  14 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Mobley was predeceased by:  her husband, Royce Mobley; brother:  Elza Lee Hall; sister:  Mae Blackburn;  and great-grandchild:  Raymond Noah Johnson.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home conducted by Rev. David Schaffer with burial in the Black Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday morning beginning at 10:00 am prior to services at the Funeral Home.
