Mrs. Betty Ann Heape DeLoach Hadwin of Lowndes Lake Road near Early Branch, died early Sunday morning at her residence.
Mrs. Hadwin was born June 1, 1936 in Hampton County a daughter of the late Herman Talmadge Heape and Carrie DeWitt Heape DeLoach. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and had worked for several Hospitals and Nursing Facilities in the Low Country area. She was a member of the Sand Hill Baptist Church, where she had been a member of the W.M.U. and many other church activities.
Mrs. Hadwin was survived by: Granddaughter: Tammy D. Carroll of Hampton; Grandsons: David Anthony DeLoach Jr. of Hampton, and Jared James DeLoach of Walterboro; 7 great Grandchildren and 1 great great grandson, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hadwin was predeceased by her parents: Husbands: Robert H. DeLoach and James Hadwin; Son: David Anthony DeLoach Sr.; Three Brothers and Two sisters.
Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Wednesday in the Sand Hill Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Dr. Tommy Kelly and Rev. George Skinner, with burial in the Sand Hill Cemetery directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Wednesday in the Sand Hill Church from 2 to 4 P.M. prior to the services.
The family suggests that those who wish may send memorials to the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
