Benjamin Martin Heape

Mr. Benjamin Martin Heape, 74, died Friday evening at his residence near Brunson.

Mr. Heape was born in Cummings, June 28, 1943, a son of the late Charlie Wilson and Luelle Cook Heape.  He retired from Westinghouse Corporation in Hampton as a Press Operator after 43 years of service.  He was a member of the Evergreen Masonic Lodge and the Jahab Shrine Club.  He was married to the late Jan Valentine Heape.

Surviving are:  One daughter:  Sonja Heape of Brunson; Sister:  Margie Woods of Gillisonville; Grandchildren:  Josh Moseley and Tristan Shinholser; and one great-grandchild:  Joshua Dylan Moseley, Jr.  Mr. Heape was predeceased by two brothers:  Jack and Charlie O'Neal Heape.

Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Wednesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.

Visitation will begin at 3 P.M. prior to services Wednesday.
