Ashley "Carson" Taylor Bush

Ashley "Carson" Taylor Bush passed away on the morning of January 5, 2018.  Carson was born in Estill, SC on October, 18, 1974.  He was the son of Ashley and Dianne Bush.

Carson was a graduate of the University of South Carolina, received his Master of Divinity from University of St. Mary of Lake (Mundelein Seminary), and an MBA from Clemson University.  He worked for the Brice Hotel in Savannah, Georgia and was about to return to Orlando working for Walt Disney World.

In addition to his parents, surviving are: his partner, JJ Sheets; three sisters, Lauren Ivans (Richard), Jennifer Madsen (Rob), Stephanie TeBake (Joe); and one brother Jeb (David).  He also had three nephews and two nieces.  In addition to his human family, he had two dogs and five cats.

The family will receive friends on Saturday afternoon from 3-5 PM at the home of his parents (975 Grass Hill Road, Estill, SC).  A graveside service will be held on the Bush family farm at 2 PM Sunday with Rev. Robbie Robinson officiating.  The service will be directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton.

As he was a lover of our country's national parks, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the National Park Foundation at 1110 Vermont Ave. NW Suite 200, Washington, DC 20005 in his memory.
