Anne Zarrilla Roszell

Ms. Anne Michele Zarrilla Collins Roszell, 76, resident of Rice Patch Road in Early Branch, passed away Friday afternoon, April 11, 2025, at her residence after an extended illness.

Born October 20, 1948, in Newark, New Jersey, Anne was the daughter of Robert M. Zarilla and Vera Guariglia Zarrilla. Being brought up in the Catholic faith, she graduated from Blessed Sacrament School in Savannah, GA and later worked many years in the service industry and at many restaurants. Anne was a caring person who deeply loved her animals, especially her cat that she greatly spoiled.

Surviving is her special friend of over 23 years, Nolan Gene Crosby, of Early Branch; her sons, James Collins (Tammy Cook) and Robert Roszell (Kathy), and her daughter, Lorraine Roberts. There are also several grandchildren.

Anne is predeceased by her husband, John Douglas Roszell and her daughter, Lisa Scott Frizzell.

Graveside Services will be 11 AM, Tuesday, April 15, 2025, in the Grimes Cemetery near Grays.

A visitation will be from 10 AM – 10:30 AM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located and 300 Mulberry St. W., Hampton, SC 29924.

Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home is assisting the Roszell family during this time.
