Mrs. Angela Grace Murdaugh, 53, of Hewitt Street in Summerville went to her heavenly home Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Roper St. Francis Berkeley Hospital.
Mrs. Murdaugh was born October 23, 1967 in Manning, the daughter of the late Patsy Richburg Eaddy. She attended Christian Academy in Manning and graduated from Clarendon Hall Academy in Summerton, SC. She received her BS Degree in Business Finance from Winthrop College and an AS Degree in Nursing from Trident Technical College. After completing college she worked as an accountant at Carolina Youth Development Center in Charleston then as a Registered Nurse at Trident Medical Center in Charleston and Summerville Medical Center in Summerville. She was a member of Givhan's Baptist Church in Ridgeville, SC.
Angela was a devoted wife, mother and daughter. She loved her husband and sons, second only to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Always ready to help others, she enjoyed being with family, doting over her pets, Ollie and Dude, caring for those in need, baking with Frank, traveling, going to lunch with friends, meticulously planning everything, making her house a home and reading her Bible.
She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Franklin L. Murdaugh, Jr.; two sons, John Franklin Murdaugh and Gilbert Allen Murdaugh; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Franklin and Queenie Murdaugh of Hampton, SC; sister-in-law Tamra Murdaugh Bishop (Randy) of Brunson, SC; brother-in-law Neal R. Murdaugh (Shellie) of Early Branch, SC; nieces, Carrie Bess Benton (Robbie) of Ulmer, SC and Leanora Bishop of Brunson, SC; and great-nephew Oran Benton.
The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the nurses, doctors and staff at Roper Berkeley Hospital for their kindness and love.
A graveside service will be held 11 AM, Monday, September 20, 2021, in Sand Hill Cemetery near Varnville, SC conducted by Rev. R.P. Hodge and directed by Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home.
Visitation will be immediately following the service at the cemetery.
