Amanda Lynn Mock Evans

Mrs. Amanda Lynn Mock Evans of Ridgeland died Thursday in the Medical University Hospital in Charleston after an extended illness.

Mrs. Evans was born in Hampton County, October 30, 1966, a daughter of Buddy Mock of Scotia and Linda Jones Mock Mixson of Brunson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Scotia Baptist Church.

Surviving are:  Her husband:  Donald Daniel Evans of Ridgeland; Son:  Joshua Evans and wife Fallon of Hampton;  Daughter:  Chasity Lynn Evans of Ridgeland;  Brother:  Bryson Hamilton Mock of Ridgeland;  Sisters:  Lindsay Allison Flanagin of Scotia and Sophia Renee Mock of Ridgeland;  three grandsons:  Carson Brinson, Joshua Daniel Evans, Jr. and Brady James Evans;  her  step-father:  Ronald Mixson of Brunson;  and best friend Cindy Heape.

Graveside services will be 11 A.M. Monday in the Oak Grove Cemetery on Rivers Hill Road near Grays, conducted by Rev. Heyward Evans and Rev. Bryan Toni.

Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 P.M. at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home located at 300 Mulberry Street West in Hampton.
