Alfie Jarrell

Mr. Alfred "Alfie" Gene Jarrell, 52, of Hickory Hill Road in Varnville died Saturday, January 2, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Jarrell was born December 6, 1968 in Raleigh, North Carolina, son of the late John Thomas Jarrell, Jr. and Betty Jean Gooding Champion.  Alfie was a construction worker who loved doing any kind of work with his hands. He had also worked at Lakeside Used Cars as a mechanic.

Surviving are his children:  Benjamin Jarrell, Christopher Jarrell, Andrew Jarrell, Morgan Jarrell, Axl Cook and Hilton Nettles; sisters Charlene Ashworth and Angela Jarrell; and a brother Dickie Stanley.  He had numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Alfie's life was held Saturday, January 16, 2021.
