Adeline Mayson Gross

Adeline Mayson Killingsworth Gross, 83, of Hampton, South Carolina passed away at home Monday, May 13, 2024.  Adeline was married for 65 years to Carl Tony Gross.  She was the daughter of the late James and Carolyn Killingsworth of Denmark, South Carolina.  She and her husband were co-owners of WBHC Radio in Hampton until they retired and sold the station in 2006.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hampton, South Carolina.

Survivors include her husband, Tony Gross of the home: her daughter, Tonette (Jim) Daniel of Hampton and a granddaughter, Jamie Daniel of Beaufort, South Carolina. Also, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Killingsworth of Lexington, South Carolina and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Jimmy Killingsworth.

Funeral services will be Thursday, May 16, 2024, at 11:00 am in the chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, South Carolina.  Visitation at the funeral home a hour before the service.  Burial immediately following in Hampton Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.  Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home of Hampton in charge of arrangements.
