Mrs. Blanche Phillips Sinclair, 99, of West Pine St. in Varnville died late Monday evening May 28th, 2012 at the Hampton Regional Medical Center in Varnville.
Born January 4th, 1913 in Jasper County she was the daughter of the late James Franklin Phillips and Evelena Pope Phillips. Mrs. Sinclair was a homemaker and a member of the Hampton First Christian Church. She will be remembered for her love of gardening and flowers. She was married to the late Elmore Cape Sinclair.
Survivors include two sons: J. A. “Tony” Sinclair and wife Vernell and Dwight Hampton Sinclair and wife Mary Ann both of Varnville, SC, one granddaughter Kimberly Sinclair and one great-granddaughter Jordan Sinclair Vinson.
Funeral services will be held Thursday morning May 31st, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the chapel of PEEPLES-RHODEN FUNERAL HOME conducted by the Rev. Claude Hydrick with burial to follow in the Smith Cemetery near Varnville, SC.
Friends may call at the funeral home located at 300 Mulberry St. West; Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352) on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 P.M. and until the hour of services on Thursday morning.
